Business for the Common Good Living Learning Community (LLC)

In the Business for the Common Good Living Learning Community you will:

  • Complete your first business course during your first semester at St. Thomas
  • Explore all possible majors in the Opus College of Business
  • Be engaged in service in the community with a group of other first-year students
  • Learn about business careers directly from business professionals
  • Join a mentoring program with upper-class business students
  • Develop more of a global focus by learning about non-profit organizations that serve nationally and internationally
  • Meet with professionals from Academic Counseling and Support and the Career Development Center 
  • Have St. Thomas faculty and staff meet with you right in your residence hall
  • Eat dinner and participate in field trips with business faculty, professionals and upper-class students
  • Enjoy the feeling of being part of a close community

While living on a floor in JPII Hall or Ireland Hall, students will be registered in the fall for a section of BUSN 200. The course is a no-credit, no-cost course required for completion of an undergraduate business administration degree in all concentrations in the Opus College of Business.
