Teacher Credential Files

A teacher credential file is an essential element of your job search, providing the means to transmit commonly-required official papers to potential Education employers. The Life/Work Center provides information and assistance to education students in developing their files. There are two possible ways to manage your credential file:

  1. Through the paper file system maintained by the Life/Work Center.
  2. Online through a private company named Interfolio (click on this link to visit the company's website).  Existing files can be converted from the Life/Work Center system to the online system by making a written request to the Life/Work Center.

Click on Establishing Your Teacher Credential File (Word format) for further information and instructions on using either system.

Click on Credential Request Form (document format) to download and print a request for an official credential file to be sent to a school district.

Click on Data Sheet (document format) to download and utilize a printable template for your data sheet.
