Services for Alumni

We welcome UST Alumni to the Libraries and invite you to take advantage of the services we have available for you after you graduate.

General library use

• on-site access to our collections of books, journals, videos/DVDs, and reference materials
• research assistance at the Reference Desk in-person or by telephone

Borrowing privileges

• Alumni cards issued at Access Services desks in the Libraries
• check-out period 6 weeks, renewable once for 4 weeks, 6 item limit
• no interlibrary loans (use your public library instead)

Electronic resources/online database access

• on-site access to approximately 200 online subscription databases; present your alumni card at the Reference desk and ask to be logged on as a guest
• remote access to databases for alumni unfortunately is not available due to licensing restrictions and cost issues
• However, public libraries statewide offer residents remote database access: see our Other Library Catalogs page for links to major metro area public library systems
