Laptop connections

O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library

You can connect your laptop to the UST network in the following locations:

  • Level 1: the area outside the O'Shaughnessy Room (6 jacks), and the O'Shaughnessy Room.
  • Level 4: the group study rooms 409/410, 411/412, 413/414, 421, and 422.

Network cables to plug in laptops are available for in-library use at the Reserve Desk on Level 1.

Keffer Library

Keffer Library has dozens of ports that provide laptops with access to the campus network (in addition to the wireless network access described above). Users will need an ethernet cable and an ethernet card to connect. Keffer has 1 ethernet cable available for checkout for in-library use; see the Access Services desk inside the Library entrance.

Ireland Librry

Electrical outlets by Reference Room tables and in study carrels; network acccess only by wireless in Reference Room and, with a weaker signal, in a few other parts of the library; other areas have no wireless signal.
