The Encyclopaedia of Islam Online represents a milestone in Middle Eastern and Islamic studies, bringing scholars and researchers around the world instant desktop access to over 15,000 articles.
The online edition offers access to:
- volumes I-XII of the New Edition (published 1955-2005).
- all new material from the Third Edition (2007- ) as it becomes available.

Gale Archives
All the CLIC schools to have free trials to 4 big GALE archives through October 31.  They are:
19th Century U.S. Newspapers, 18th Century Collections Online, The Economist (1843-2003), and The Times (of London 1785-1985).  These trials are only available from computers on campus.  Send comments to Dani Roach.

Hispanic American Newspapers, 1808-1980
A compilation of Spanish-language newspapers printed in the U.S. during the 19th and 20th centuries. Includes newspapers published bilingually in Spanish and English. Periodically the UST libraries sets up trial subscriptions to databases to allow evaluation and comparison to existing subscriptions by library staff and faculty.

These resources may require a username and password to login and are available for a limited time.
