Alerting Services for Proquest databases

includes ABI/INFORM Trade & Industry, Dissertations & Theses, Ethnic Newswatch, Proquest Newsstand databases. (American Periodical Series and British Periodicals databases don't  include any alerting functions, as they contain only historical content).

Journal/ Table of Contents Alerts

Go to the Proquest database that contains your journal or newspaper (if you don't know this, check our Journals A-Z page). At the top of the page, select the "Publications" link and search for your title in the browse list, and then select it.  On the resulting publication page, select the "Set Up Alert" link, and use the form that opens to set an email address and the frequency of the alerts. 

Search Alerts

Go to the Proquest database covering your topic and perform your desired search.   At the top of the search results, select "Set Up Alert."  Use the form that opens to set an email address and the frequency of the alerts.
