Alerting Services: Gale databases

includes Computer Database, Expanded Academic ASAP, General Reference Center Gold, General OneFile, Health Reference Center--Academic, Informe, InfoTrac Student Edition, Junior Edition, Legal Trac, and Professional Collection databases.  Business & Company Resource Center database does not offer alerting functions.

Table of Contents Alerts

Go to the Gale database that contains your journal (if you don't know this, check our Journals A-Z page). At the top of the page, select the "Publication Search" link and search or browse for your title.  Select the title, and on the publication's information page that opens, select the "Create a Journal Alert" link at the top right.  Use  the form that opens to select between email and RSS feed alerts, set an email address, and the frequency of the alerts. 

Search Alerts

Go to the Gale database covering your topic and perform your desired search.   At the top right above the search results, select "Create a Search Alert."  Use the form that opens to select between email and RSS feed alerts, set an email address, and the frequency of the alerts.
