
Creating alerts in Cambridge Journals requires users to first sign up for a free individual account. To do so, go to the database and hit the "Register now" link at the top of the page to access the registration form.
Go to the Cambridge database that contains your journal (if you don't know this, check our Journals A-Z page and follow the link provided). Log in to your personal Cambridge account, then scroll down to and select the "My content alerts" link on the left side of the page. Follow the instructions provided to set the frequency, email format, and specific journal titles. For RSS feeds of contents alerts, hit the "RSS/Atom feeds" link on the left side of the main page to access a list of journal titles, then select the title to see the feed URL to use in your newsreader.
Go to the Cambridge database and perform your desired search. At the top of the search results, select "Save Search." If not already logged in to your personal Cambridge account, you will be prompted to do so now. Follow the instructions provided to set the title, frequency, and email address for your search alert.
After locating the desired article in a search, select the article's abstract, and then select "Citation alert" on the left side of the abstract page. Follow the instructions provided to set the citation alert.
