Bureau of Labor Statistics Wages: provides salary information and advice.  The National Compensation Survey and the Occupational Employment Statistics Survey are great resources, just to name two.

Minnesota Salary Survey: salary data from the Minnesota Department of Economic Security.

Minnesota Current Employment Statistics: includes time series data on wages for various industries.

MN JobSource: cooperative site of the James J. Hill Library and Ramsey County Workforce Center, includes job search and salary information.

JobStar: salary links are sorted by profession.

Occupational Outlook Handbook: basic salary information and occupational career guidance information, sorted by profession.

Abbott Langer: identifies salary reports created by Abbott, Langer & Associates and offers some "free summary data" online for current salary statistics in IT/MIS, marketing, accounting, engineering, human resources, consulting, manufacturing, nonprofit, legal, and other fields.

Wage Web: offers limited-access to salary reports in selected professions.

Salary.com: commercial site, though they offer a free basic report.

Companypay.com: executive compensation of Fortune 100 companies.

Minnesota Salary Tool: from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, the Minnesota Salary Tool finds detailed information for a single occupation.

OES Data Tool: from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, the OES Data Tool (Salary Survey) examines data for several occupations and geographies.

Homestore Salary Calculator: compare the cost of living in different cities; find out how far your salary will stretch by metropolitan area.
