CLICnet: the book catalog for UST Libraries and several other local Universities. Books can be requested from other campuses online. CLICnet is available both on campus and off via the UST Libraries Web site.

The Chronicle of Philanthropy: the web version of the weekly news journal of the nonprofit sector. It includes a summary of their articles, some full text, current news stories, information on conferences, workshops and seminars, and links to other nonprofit related sites.
Council of Foundations: an overview on starting and managing a foundation, links, and tips on securing donations. This site also has a link to the online version of Foundation News with some full text material.
The Independent Sector: an organization that works to strengthen the nonprofit sector and encourages volunteerism and philanthropy. Their site has information about their initiatives, along with facts and trends within the industry. They also offer publications to purchase on aspects of managing a nonprofit organization.
The Internet Nonprofit Center: a searchable directory of nonprofit organizations.
IRS Statistics of Income, Tax Stats: Charities & Other Non-profit Organizations: statistical data and reports on non-profit contributions and spending.
The Literature of the Nonprofit Sector: LNPS Online is a searchable database of the literature of philanthropy. It incorporates the unique contents of the Foundation Center's five libraries and contains 17,960 full bibliographic citations, 11,141 of which have descriptive abstracts. It is updated on a regular basis.
Minneapolis Public Library-Foundation Center Cooperating Collection: includes materials on fund raising and nonprofit organizations generally: over 600 volumes, a dozen magazine titles, 990PFs from all Minnesota private foundations, hundreds of annual reports from Minnesota foundations and nonprofits, and FC Search, a CD-ROM database of US grants and grantmakers.
Minnesota Council on Foundations: "a regional membership association of family and private foundations, community and other public foundations, and corporate foundations and giving programs."
Minnesota Council of Nonprofits: a statewide organization that provides information for, about, and advocates for Minnesota nonprofits.
The National Center for Charitable Statistics: a national depository of data on the nonprofit sector. They produce profiles of the sector for each state, IRS and tax information for nonprofit organizations, fact sheets and financial information on the nonprofit sector and many links to other nonprofit related sites.
NonProfit Times: this site is updated monthly and contains the most current non-proft news, fundraising information, online directory and links to other non-profit sites.
Philanthropic Studies Index: The Indiana University Center on Philanthropy seeks to increase the
understanding of philanthropy and improve its practice through research, teaching, and public service. They maintain an online searchable database of nonprofit literature.
