This database provides citations for 2.3 million dissertations and master’s theses from over 1000 schools and universities around the world. Citations for dissertations published after 1980 have a 350 word abstract written by the author; theses written after 1988 have 150 word abstracts. Prior to these dates, users may find only a citation and no abstract. If the dissertation was written by a University of St. Thomas student, there should be free access to the full text. Dissertations from other schools may be purchased, or borrowed on interlibrary loan through ILLiad.
