Saint Paul Regional Council
Background:
The National Federation of Catholic College Students was founded in 1937 with its purpose to acquaint Catholic college students with their responsibility to the student community, to contribute to the development of Catholic lay leadership, to promote American Catholic student solidarity. The Saint Paul Regional Council included members from the College of St. Thomas, St. Mary’s College, the College of St. Catherine, the College of St. Teresa, the College of St. Benedict, the College of St. Scholastica, and St. John’s University.
Scope/Content:
The collection contains correspondence, programs and other administrative materials relating to the regional and national organizations dating from 1948 1951.
Provenance: The collection was donated by James Garney in November 1996.
