MRC reserves allows high demand items to be available to professors for class lectures and to their students for studying. Please note that undergraduate students have borrowing privileges for sound and video recordings so it is important to reserve material for class early. As it can take several days to process items, please bring reserve lists to the MRC or drop in our BEC 5 mailbox before the start of the semester.
A form is available to expedite processing. You may choose from 4 loan periods: in-house use, 2-hours, 24-hours or 3-days. Please include a copy of your course's syllabus. Reserve requests will be processed in the order in which they are received.
Personal items (scores and recordings) are welcome. Reproductions of copyrighted items are permitted only if they fall within the University's Agreement on Guidelines for Classroom Copying. If you want more information on copyright or have questions, contact Conie, 962-6874.
At your request, reserve items can be removed from the reserves shelf before the end of the semester. On the last day of finals, all remaining reserve items will be returned to the circulating shelves and personal copies will be sent to the appropriate staff boxes in BEC 5.
