Attend Music in the Library on Thu!
Please join us at noon on Thu, Nov 16 in the O'Shaughnessy-Room, a.k.a. "leather" room, of the O'Shaughnessy-Frey library for an informal concert of guitar and instrumental music presented by your fellow students. Bring your lunch and listen to the music of Bach, Varese, originals by your peers and more!
Play at Music in the Library
Yes! We want you to play at Music in the Library. The next date is Thu, Dec 7 at noon. Sign up in the Music Resource Center (BEC 103) to play.
It's a great opportunity to run through music before juries. Check your calendar and your accompanist's calendar (yes, we have a piano!) and sign up soon.
Music Reference House Calls
Susan Price, OSF Reference Librarian, will be in the MRC on Tue, Nov 14, 10-11:30 a.m. and Wed, Nov 29, 10 a.m.-noon. She'll be available to give advice on papers, projects and assignments on music and other coursework topics. Drop by and visit when she's in the house!
What's New at the MRC?

MRC public computer update

Finale is loaded on the iMac in the MRC. Finally!

The public printer is almost ready for use. When it is ready, you'll need to purchase a $1 or $5 copy/print card from MRC staff.

More features equals more demand. To be fair to all patrons wanting to use a computer, let's adopt these guidelines: When class is in session and someone is waiting, maximum use is 30 minutes. When someone is waiting between classes and during convo hour, maximum use is 5 minutes.

Did you know? Electric music keyboards are available for 4-hour loan at the OSF Circulation desk. Use them at the Finale and Sibelius iMac stations on the Lower Level.
