O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library has Amazon Kindle eBook readers available for checkout. Each Kindle comes with a carrying case and necessary accessories. Click here to request a UST Kindle from CLICnet.
Kindle is a hand held, wireless technology developed by Amazon for rendering and displaying eBooks and other digital media downloadable from Amazon or accessible from a wireless internet connection.
You can learn more here or here.
Each Kindle has different titles; This spreadsheet lists them and is sortable by title, author, and Kindle #. Look here to see a list of the individual Kindles; open each record to see which titles it contains. If a search in the catalog indicates "UST Kindle" as one of the items, then that's the one to request.

The library Kindles have already been loaded with specific titles and downloading other titles from your own personal account onto the devices or deleting content is not permitted.
If you want to request a title be added to one of the Kindles for your use, fill out the form on the library "Request A Book" page.
The Libraries will not be loading Kindles with current UST course text books.
Anyone can highlight text and make margin notes on the Kindle, but you cannot print from the device. Citations are also difficult since the Kindle works with it's own page format; you need to use the index (if available) or chapter reference.
