Special Collections: houses the University of St. Thomas Libraries' collection of rare books and manuscripts as well as the University Archives. Its collection of more than 23,000 book volumes and 2400 cubic feet of manuscripts and archival records includes important collections of photographs, films, architectural drawings and ephemera.
University Archives: the official archives of University of St. Thomas, the St. Paul Seminary, Nazareth Hall Seminary, St. John Vianney Seminary, St. Thomas Military Academy (to 1965) and the Catholic Digest (1939 - 2001). Includes official records of administrative offices, academic departments & student organizations, theses & dissertations, the College newspaper (The Aquin), the College and Academy yearbooks (Aquinas and The Kaydet), plus selected professional papers and publications of UST faculty and administrators.
Digital Collections: The UST Libraries are proud to make available digitized content from our collections.
Media Resources Collection: DVDs, videocassettes, and CD-ROMs available to support the curriculum of the University and for recreational viewing.
Music Resource Center: contains a collection of music scores, recordings and other audio-visual material, playback equipment, and instructional computers. The primary functions of the MRC are to maintain the collection of study scores and listening materials required for the support of music courses taught at UST and to provide access to these materials to students enrolled in and faculty teaching these courses.
Curriculum & Juvenile Literature Collections (Keffer): The Curriculum & children's Literature materials comprise special collections of resources for Teacher Education and other students in the School of Education. The collections may also be used by students at other CLIC schools (checkout is available) and by the general public in the library only.
Health & Healing Collection: The collections focus is on all aspects of healing, from the medical to the spiritual.
Leisure Reading Collection: The collection includes popular fiction and materials generally not considered scholarly or appropriate for the Libraries’ permanent collections. These items will be chosen by a committee of people made up of staff and students.
