UST Libraries Inclement Weather Policy
Beside providing services to students and faculty, a primary consideration in all decisions on whether to open, remain open, or close is the safety of the library staff.
Consequently, the library may only be staffed bu those necessary to maintain basic library services. This may mean that not all library services will be available.
Any changes in library hours will be made available on the libraries' web site and the hours' line for each library (to the right).
OSF Library
The O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library will attempt to be open during weather emergencies for days on which the University is closed during the regular semester (classes in session or during exam periods).
On weather emergency days when the library is able to open, the O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library will open at 12 noon and close at 4:00 p.m.
Keffer Library
When classes are in session, the Keffer Library will follow the direction of the Public Safety office at the Minneapolis campus. On days when classes are not in session, the library director will consult with the Public Safety office to determine the appropriate action.
