Literature about Church teaching on social justice is anchored in the major encyclicals (and
other documents) about social issues and in relevant books and articles. This guide provides
help in finding both documents and secondary literature. Appended is a list of recent books at
Ireland Library.

Note: Citations include translations (keyed to Collections section below) and published editions. All documents are cited as officially issued using a modified MLA style. Students should always cite the edition actually used, seldom the original one. Web document addresses follow each section (not in MLA style: see 4.9.2-9 guidelines).
