Dan Gjelten, Director of Libraries, is responsible for the leadership and management of the O'Shaughnessy-Frey, Archbishop Ireland Memorial, and Charles J. Keffer Libraries of the University of St. Thomas including their overall direction, goal setting, personnel, budget, and services. |
The Director of Libraries is assisted by his Management Team - Linda Hulbert, associate director for collection management and services; Diane Knights, associate director for public services; Janice Kragness, director of Keffer Library and research and instruction; John Heintz, associate director for digital information; Curt LeMay, director of Ireland Library; and library administrative assistant Julie Kimlinger.
The University of St. Thomas Libraries play an important part in the consortium of private colleges in the Twin Cities, Cooperating Libraries in Consortium (CLIC). These colleges work together to provide comprehensive library resources through an integrated, automated library system, CLICnet.
The Administrative Office is located at the northwest corner of the second floor of the O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library. The office is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. You are invited to speak with the Director if you have questions or concerns. Appointments are encouraged, but drop-in visits are welcome.
