The University Advocates for Women and Equity will be showing the film “Miss Representation” on Tuesday, Feb. 26 in McNeely Hall 100.  The film, which lasts approximately 90 minutes, will begin at 11:45.  Feel free to bring a bag lunch to the showing.

Miss Representation explores how mainstream media contributes to the under-representation of women in influential positions in America.  The film challenges the media's limiting and often disparaging portrayals of women, which make it difficult for the average girl to see herself as powerful.
