Events & Programs
The Luann Dummer Center for Women hosts and co-sponsors a variety of programs that advance the mission of the Center to "foster the intellectual, spiritual and personal development of women, and promote an open and diverse environment at St. Thomas." Dr. Luann Dummer specified that the main program of the Center would be a major speaker for Women's History Month. In addition, the Center has had a tradition of featuring local scholars and professionals once a month for a noon-time "Feminist Friday." Over the years the Center has enhanced these programs with a variety of other programs that meet the immediate needs and interests of the University community.
