Events & Programs
The Luann Dummer Center for Women hosts and co-sponsors a variety of programs that advance the mission of the Center to "foster the intellectual, spiritual and personal development of women, and promote an open and diverse environment at St. Thomas." Dr. Luann Dummer specified that the main program of the Center would be a major speaker for Women's History Month. In addition, the Center has had a tradition of featuring local scholars and professionals once a month for a noon-time "Feminist Friday." Over the years the Center has enhanced these programs with a variety of other programs that meet the immediate needs and interests of the University community.

NETWORK’s Nuns on the Bus is headed on the road again! This year, we are driving so “We the People” can stand up against big money in the 2014 midterm elections. “We the People” will stand up against income and wealth disparity by voting and encouraging others to vote for the good of the 100%. We are working with a variety of groups to register voters, connect our networks to existing ‘Get out the Vote’ (GOTV) efforts, offer suggestions for ineligible voters to support voting in their communities, and hold our elected officials accountable after the election.View Event Information »
