Bar Passage Information

The Minnesota Bar Board of Examiners has announced the results for the July 2008 Bar.  The University of St. Thomas School of law posted an overall bar passage rate of 89.2 percent and a first-time bar passage rate of 89.91 percent.  Last year’s first time bar passage rate was 88.39 percent.  The overall bar passage rate was 89.14 percent for all takers.           

The overall first-time bar passage rate for July 2008 was 91.84% for all takers.  Over the past three years, University of St. Thomas graduates have a bar passage rate of 89.68 percent.  While bar passage rates vary widely by state, the University of St. Thomas’s bar passage rate compares favorably with the national average.
