Lawyers' Council on Social Justice

The Lawyers’ Council on Social Justice (LCSJ)  is founded upon the belief that the goals of social justice can be furthered through thoughtful legal analysis. 

LCSJ is dedicated to advancing the principle of “equal protection under the law”.  To that end, LCSJ seeks to examine whether “equal protection under the law” given to all citizens is upheld in actions as well as words. 

LCSJ seeks to promote social justice scholarship and activity by exploring equity in jurisprudence and providing a collaborative forum for the rigorous examination of complex social justice issues.  Additionally, LCSJ is committed to informing the public of innovative solutions to challenging social justice concerns.
