Terry Hake, the attorney who went undercover in 1980 to help the FBI and U.S. Attorney’s Office in Chicago convict 18 judges, 57 lawyers, and 10 law enforcement officers as part of Operation Greylord, will speak April 2 at the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
The event will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Schulze Grand Atrium of the school’s downtown Minneapolis campus. It is free and open to the public.
Operation Greylord remains one of the FBI’s most successful undercover investigations. Hake, who posed as a corrupt prosecutor and defense attorney, worked undercover for 3½ years in the investigation into the Cook County Court System.
