2006 UST School of Law graduate Jessica Slattery Karich's article Restoring Balance to Checks and Balances: Checking the Executive's Power Under the State Secrets Doctrine was published in volume 114 of The West Virginia Law Review. The article takes a close look at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal's ruling in Mohamed v. Jeppesen Dataplan, Inc., 614 F.3d 1017 (9th Cir. 2010).
