Bryan Ludwig '11 catches for 2014 All-Star Game

Ludwig, who owns Ludwig Law Office and serves as general counsel, director of operations and head coach for PHD Baseball Club, was afforded the all-star opportunity after four years working with the Twins as a rehab bullpen catcher and youth training academy instructor. Mission in Action: UST Law graduates recognized by MN State Bar Association for pro bono legal service

Many University of St. Thomas School of Law graduates have a passion and commitment to serving low income clients and providing pro bono service to the community. For the first time, the Minnesota State Bar Association recognized North Star Lawyers. North Star Lawyers each provided at least 50 hours of pro bono legal services in 2012. A University of St. Thomas group, Brotherhood, Inc., has been selected as a finalist for the 2012 Mosaic Social Entrepreneurs Cup competition. According to the Mosaic website, the competition is designed to “seek out, celebrate, and promote Minnesota’s most innovative and effective social entrepreneurs and the organizations they lead.” Brotherhood, Inc. is a division of the Community Justice Project at the Interprofessional Center for Counseling & Legal Services.
