Thanks to our prime downtown Minneapolis location, living near campus as an LL.M. in U.S. Law student is very convenient. While there are many unique neighborhoods and housing options that you can choose from in the Twin Cities area, we recommend living in a downtown apartment, where you will be within walking distance of campus.
Below, you will find our top two recommendations for LL.M. in U.S. Law students. Whether you choose to live here or find another place on your own, apartments in downtown Minneapolis are always in high demand, so make sure you secure your apartment by June 1 so it is available for you in August.
The LaSalle Apartments are connected to the Minneapolis skyway, an 8-mile indoor walking space between downtown buildings at UST School of Law. Not only does this make for convenient access to shops and restaurants, but it also means you won’t have to walk outside in the winter to get to class. Located in a historic building, the LaSalle Apartments also offers optional high ceilings and oversized windows, flexible lease terms, furnished apartments and discounted membership to the YMCA athletic club next door. Laurel Village is home to several buildings and living options that range in size and cost. Located just a few city blocks from the UST School of Law campus, Laurel Village includes high-rise buildings with panoramic views of the city; modern low-rise apartments, townhomes and lofts; and historic brownstones, each with its own unique floor plan. Amenities include fitness studios, indoor pools, garden patios, theater rooms, guest suites and lush courtyards. Visit www.laurelvillage.com.
Once you are admitted to the LL.M. in U.S. Law program, a member of our admissions team will be in contact with you regarding housing. If you would like to venture beyond our housing recommendations, we can help guide your search with more detailed information about the many wonderful neighborhoods near our Minneapolis campus. Our admissions staff, student housing ambassadors and relocation specialist will be happy to work with you to find a home that meets your needs.
