From 2004-2007 Dan was a Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy.  After being honorably discharged he moved to Minnesota and earned his B.A. in Geography and a certificicate in Geographic Information Systems from the Minnesota State University, Mankato.  Dan is currently working towards his Master's degree in Leadership and Student Affairs from the University of St. Thomas.
