Norman Linnell recently retired as vice president, general counsel and secretary of Donaldson Companies after 18 years of service. A leading world-wide provider of filtration systems, Donaldson experienced very strong growth during Linnell’s time with the company and is now at $2.5 billion a year in revenues. Prior to joining Donaldson in 1996, Linnell was a partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, an in-house attorney for Kohler Company, and an associate at Quarles & Brady in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He also clerked for the Honorable Diana Murphy, U.S. District Court Judge for the District of Minnesota. 

Linnell is a current board member and past president of Books for Africa, and is past president of the Donaldson Foundation.
