Jason is a Vice President and Wealth Strategist in Northern Trust’s Wealth Management business in Minnesota.  He is a member of a team that develops customized financial solutions for high-net worth individuals, families, foundations and endowments by leveraging Northern Trust’s investment, trust and estate, and financial planning resources.

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Jason served as a Senior Vice President and Manager of Wealth Management Services for Securian Trust Company, N.A.  Previously, he practiced law at a firm he cofounded and also spent time as a Wealth Advisor at Piper Jaffray.

Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of St. Thomas and his Juris Doctorate from Hamline University School of Law.  He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation, FINRA Series 7 and Series 65 licenses and is an adjunct faculty member of the University of St. Thomas School of Law.

He is also active in the Minnesota State Bar Association, currently serving as Co-Chair
of the Probate & Trust Legislation Committee, and is the Secretary of the Board of Directors of Living Well Disability Services.

A native of Rochester, Minnesota, Jason presently lives in Southwest Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife and two children.
