CRN: 43163 3 Credit Hours Instructor: Marya P. Robben, Matthew J. Shea This course will introduce students to the law governing the transmission of property following death. Students will examine the justifications and limitations on the power to transmit one's property, the operation of intestacy statutes, the capacity to make a will, the requirements of a valid will, the construction of wills, and the inter-vivos trust and other will substitutes.
