Previously, Hassan Saffouri served as an attorney with Faegre & Benson, focusing on immigration law. Saffouri also has more than ten years of previous teaching experience at William Mitchell. Before joining Faegre, Saffouri practiced business and family immigration with the Borene Law Firm and commercial and employment litigation with Lindquist & Vennum . His clients have included high tech and manufacturing companies, agricultural producers, educational institutions, businesses in the environmental regulatory consulting and engineering industry, international distributors, and individuals.
During law school, Saffouri was Editor in Chief of the law review and served the United States District Court, District of Minnesota, St. Paul, MN as an intern to Chief Judge Paul Magnuson. He graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 1996, where he received his JD, summa cum laude and was the class salutatorian.
Prior to receiving his law degree, Saffouri worked in the software industry as a systems analyst and as the manager of product development for a software company. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA in Mathematics-Computer Science and an MBA from California State University at Los Angeles.
