The UST School of Law is blessed with a stellar group of adjunct faculty, including several judges:
· Six State Trial Court Judges
· One U.S. District Court Judge
· One State Court of Appeals Judge
· One Federal Bankruptcy Judge
· One 2nd Judicial District Court Judge
· One Ramsey County District Court Judge
· Four Hennepin County District Court Judges
Additional adjunct faculty include lawyers from almost all of the largest firms in the Twin Cities, lawyers from a range of smaller firms and from sole practice environments, in-house counsel from Marvin Windows, Northwest Airlines, Travelers and U.S. Bank, and an array of attorneys from Legal Aid, the County Public Defender’s Office, the U.S. Attorney’s office, a County Prosecutor’s office, and non-profits, such as the Council for Crime and Justice, the Innocence Project, and the League of Minnesota Cities.
Of the 60 adjunct faculty we have who are not judges or in-house counsel, over half have been named Minnesota Super Lawyers at least once in the last five years (and most of them repeatedly).
These fantastic lawyers and judges come to UST willing to share their knowledge and experience within their subject specialty while also offering students awesome role models for what it means to be a professional.
