Conversations in Feminism, Law and Religion
Rev. Elizabeth Eaton, presiding Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, will deliver the keynote address for this groundbreaking conference that continues a conversation begun by feminist legal scholars and theologians marked by the recent publication of Feminism, Law, and Religion (Ashgate Press 2013, Failinger, Schiltz and Stabile, eds.) The book’s authors and others will be present for panels and more informal conversations about issues that matter to feminist thinkers in law and religion, from family law issues to legal and religious theory.
