In our excitement over the end of Lent, our beautiful Triduum liturgies, and our Easter dinners, we sometimes forget that the Easter season continues after Easter until Pentacost. As a corollary, we spend far more time with Jesus’ passion narratives than we do reflecting on his post-resurrection appearances.
This Mid-Day Reflection is an invitation to prayerful reflection on how the early Christian community experienced the Risen Christ and what resurrection means in our lives. It will include a talk as well as time for either individual reflection or a guided meditation on one of the post-resurrection appearances, and some sharing of the fruits of that reflection.
