Mission Awards Ceremony
The annual Mission Awards Ceremony recognizes students, faculty, staff, adjuncts and alumni who have excelled in one of four categories: Living the Mission, Excellence in Professional Preparation, Scholarship Engagement and Societal Reform, and Service and Community.
Living the Mission
One student from each class who best exemplifies the law school mission by his or her activities inside and outside he classroom is selected to receive this award. A $500 cash award is given to the 1L and 2L recipients, and a $1,000 cash award is given to the 3L recipient.
Excellence in Professional Preparation
Given to an individual or group who has excelled in professional preparation in their legal studies or career.
Service and Community
Given to an individual or group who has excelled in service to the local, national or global community.
Scholarly Engagement and Societal Reform
Given to an individual or group who has integrated law and society into their professional activities.
