Mid-Day Reflection: Jesus’ Post-Resurrection Appearances
What: Mid-Day Reflection: Jesus’ Post-Resurrection Appearances
When: Wednesday, April 10, 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Where: Room 244
In our excitement over the end of Lent, our beautiful Triduum liturgies and our Easter dinners, we sometimes forget that the Easter season continues after Easter until Pentacost. As a corollary, we spend far more time with the Jesus’ passion narratives than we do reflecting on his post-resurrection appearances.
This "Mid-Day Reflection" is an invitation to prayerful reflection on how the early Christian community experienced the Risen Christ and what resurrection means in our lives. It will include a talk as well as time for either individual reflection or a guided meditation on one of the post-resurrection appearances, and some sharing of the fruits of that reflection.
This Mid-Day reflection, sponsored by the Holloran Center, will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and includes lunch. Given that lunch will be served, please RSVP to Bethany Fletcher at firstname.lastname@example.org.
