Vocation and the Study & Practice of Law: A Retreat Experience
Join Professors Susan Stabile and Jennifer Wright and other students and alumni in a retreat experience designed to help participants reflect on how God might be calling us to use our gifts and talents to serve others in the study and practice of law. The retreat will be held at the Benedictine Center of St. Paul’s Monastery.
We will depart from UST School of Law between 4 and 4:15 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16. The retreat will start with a dinner on Friday and end before lunch on Sunday, Jan. 18. This retreat is open to any law student and to alumni.
The Benedictine Center of St. Paul’s Monastery is a wonderful retreat facility located near the border of St. Paul and Maplewood about twenty minutes from UST School of Law.
This retreat experience is being underwritten by the Associate Dean’s Office and the Holloran Center for Ethical Leadership in the Professions. Accordingly, retreat participants will incur only the travel expenses associated with driving to and from the Monastery and a $25 fee to cover the cost of food.
This is a great way to start the second semester by renewing your relationship with God, by reflecting on how God is calling you to the study and practice of law, and by building relationships with other members of the UST School of Law community.
Sign up deadline is Friday, Dec. 19 (with a late registration deadline of Monday, Jan. 5). Please sign up by contacting Libby Meyers at email@example.com or (651) 962-4851.
