Lessons in Leadership - A Medtronic Roundtable Event

This program brings together leaders from different components of the legal profession for a conversation in which they discuss their reflections on being leaders in the legal profession: David Koschik, one of the Managing Partners at White and Case, a global law firm, Rebecca Love Kourlis, Executive Director of the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System (IAALS) and former Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court, and David Stern, Executive Director of Equal Justice Works, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a just society by mobilizing the next generation of lawyers committed to equal justice.

Key questions addressed in the program include:

• What are the attributes of a "good leader”?
• How do leaders assess whether they are successful and whether their leadership style needs to be adjusted?
• Where and from whom did they learn their leadership skills?
• What difficult situations have tested their leadership mettle?
