Prudence. Justice. Temperance. Fortitude. We hear the term Cardinal Virtues. We walk through Terrence Murphy Hall and see them beautifully portrayed in murals, but how much do we really think about the meaning of the virtues? How often do we spend time contemplating what implications they have - for our individual lives and for our lives in community?
This mid-day reflection offers us an opportunity to consider what the virtues of prudence, justice, temperance and fortitude – the foundation and precondition for all other virtues – can mean in our lives, how they can be distorted, and how we can develop and strengthen the virtues in ourselves. Lunch will be provided.
