Lent Retreat for Daily Living

Held Mondays during Lent

Date & Time:

Monday, April 3, 2017
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

Location:

University of St. Thomas School of Law
Room 242

During these sessions, participants will reflect on Pope Francis’ Lent messages that call us to a deeper conversion of the heart in terms of our response to love our neighbor as God loves. The experience of God’s gift of unconditional love which we celebrate in this season launches us to go out of ourselves and encounter others with new eyes. Through these sessions and your commitment of praying along the way, these retreat provides you with the opportunity to deepen your relationship with God and the invitation to a concrete response to God’s love in your life.

As a participant of a daily living retreat we invite you to commit to a half-hour of prayer each day. Material for prayer will be provided for each day of the week. Participants will additionally meet for an hour each week where they will have the opportunity to share their prayer experience in small groups and continue to be nourished for the following week. This retreat is designed for those who want to deepen their prayer life during this lent season either if they are beginners or have been praying for long. The sessions will include a light lunch.
