As a graduate of UST Law, CPD is a resource for you for the rest of your career.  Contact Kendra Brodin, our CPD Director, to set up an appointment to discuss job search strategies and get help putting together that perfect resume and cover letter.  To set up an appointment email lawcareers@stthomas.edu.

Can’t make it in to UST Law during the work day?  No problem!  We are available to meet with you at a more convenient location before or after work or during a lunch break.  Just let us know what works for you and we’ll make it happen.

Also, don’t forget that Symplicity is updated daily with new job postings for new grads and experienced attorneys!  You can see what jobs are available on our Public Job Board.

Update your current employment

We are interested in what you are doing!  Why?  A number of reasons.  First, students are often looking for alumni to talk with in different practice areas so they can learn more about what they would like to do and get advice for how to start their legal careers. Second, employers looking for candidates often contact us and ask us to reach out to our grads with particular experience or in particular geographic areas to inform them about new opportunities. Please contact Dan Winterlin at daniel.winterlin@stthomas.edu

PSLawNet is now PSJD!

PSLawNet, the primary research tool for students and alumni exploring public interest and government career options, has become PSJD, a redesigned website that retains all of PSLawNet's content but that adds easier navigation, enhanced searching, and new tools for job-seekers and employers alike.  You will be able to log in to PSJD with existing PSLawNet login credentials, and any job-seeker "email alerts" you have set up will continue uninterrupted.  PSJD can be found at http://www.psjd.org.

Volunteer Lawyers Network  is a great way to keep building on your legal skills while you search for a job.  Also ProJusticeMN has a great list of volunteer resources. Both sites also has a calendar of CLEs that are often low cost.
