Association of American Law Schools (AALS) Statement on Diversity and Military Recruitment
Military practices are inconsistent with the law school's nondiscrimination policy and with the AALS's nondiscrimination policy. The AALS executive committee has excused noncompliance with its nondiscrimination policies as they apply to military recruiters. The University of St. Thomas School of Law is committed to diversity in all aspects including participation in diversity hiring programs, special scholarship opportunities, and institutional support for student groups and organizations focused on special outreach efforts to diverse communities.
