First Baptist Church

Location: 1021 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403
Contact Number: (612) 332-3651
Service Times: Sunday 9:30am, 10:50am
*Classes available for adults and youth
Head Pastor: Matt Clausen
About: Great location from UST (across the street). Great, young pastor and a more seasoned associate pastor. It is an inner-city church with a decent focus on outreach and service, both in city and internationally. The church encourages small groups outside of church and will actively help you find one to join.
One thing to consider is that the church population is predominately older than law-school age, many with children and working, with some retired. They are very welcoming but it is harder to find a group of mid 20 year olds.
