Public Interest Work: Working this past summer for ElderCareRights.org I have gained first hand knowledge of the difficult issues facing vulnerable adults. Through interviews done in person and over the phone I have heard the stories of elders in need. I have picked the brains of local mentors and performed independent research to either directly address their issues or to make a proper referral. I have much to learn, but through my great experience these last few months I feel better prepared to meet the needs that will come before the Elder Law Clinic at the University of St. Thomas School of Law.” | |
