The generous financial support of alumni helps maintain and improve the overall excellence of the School of Law. Contributions help fund scholarships for students, provide loan forgiveness for graduates, and attract and retain outstanding faculty. Any gift, big or small, advances the mission of UST Law.
Law School Development Officer Joe Plante works closely with Dean Tom Mengler on fundraising efforts. Without the contributions of alumni and other friend of the University, the School of Law would not be possible. Financial contributions are a necessary ingredient for excellence, and the School of Law aims for nothing short of excellent.
Each year, the School of Law conducts an Annual Fund with one primary goal: 100 percent participation from alumni. The Āparticipation rateĀ for a law school is often viewed as a measuring stick for alumni acceptance, support and confidence in the law program. Law Schools compare participation rates and the American Bar Association collects information on participation rates from all ABA accredited law schools. Every national law school can boast of a high participation rate.
The School of Law Annual Fund runs in the Spring of each year, and closes on June 30.
