Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund

The Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund Scholarship Program for Law Students was founded in 1972 to struggle for social change and secure justice and equality for Latinos. All applicants must be a first or second year student in a JD degree program at an ABA approved law school. The award is in the amount of $2,000 and selection is based on financial need and academic promise.
