Marshall B. Rosenberg, PhD, teaches each workshop and introduces the participants to a communication process called Nonviolent Communication (NVC).

Themes covered with include "creating person awareness and change for yourself", teaching NVC to kids, restorative justice, mediation, parenting and social change. Marshall will play his guitar and sing his songs. Multiple day attendance both enriches and reinforces learning. Reading any of his books before hand will also aid your learning experience.

Most of us are hungry for skills that can improve the quality of our professional relationships, advance efficiency, and facilitate conflict resolution. This training offers simple, effective communication skills to transform your relationships at home, in the workplace, or with others for the better. Can we learn to keep our hearts open regardless of the emotional state of the person we are with? Yes, Marshall will demonstrate how the NVC process can help us both humanize ourselves and the people we are interacting with every day. Practicing NVC will deepen the connections in our personal life as well as at the workplace.

Participants will learn about the four-step process during discussion, question and answer, as well as role-playing interactions. Participants will present their own personal related communication challenges. Dr. Rosenberg will assist participants in using the NVC model to facilitate resolution of conflicts where all party's needs are valued.
