
East Metro colleges and universities will be coming together with local community leaders on Monday November 10, from 6:00-8:15 PM at the Rauenhorst Hall, Coeur de Catherine at the College of St. Catherine to showcase innovative campus-community partnerships in environmental sustainability efforts and to discuss opportunities for future collaborations. St. Thomas University, the College of St. Catherine, Macalester College, Concordia University, and Bethel University will be participating in this event. The Forum will consist of a presentation by Will Steger, the Arctic explorer and environmental spokesperson, with testimonial presentations from each campus and an active discussion on environmental civic engagement. This Civic Engagement Forum is one of a series of such events co-sponsored by Minnesota Campus Compact, the Minnesota Office of Higher Education, the Minnesota Department of Education, and the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State.
