Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP) is currently expanding its project located in Mindanao in the Philippines, and we are seeking a minimum of 10 strong and internationally experienced candidates. The NP project in Sri Lanka also requires several new people over the next months in order to fill upcoming gaps in staffing of our field sites. At this time, NP is looking for highly experienced candidates to serve in conflict zones as International Civilian Peacekeepers. These are people who, amongst other things, provide civilian protection, protective accompaniment, inter-positioning, help to strengthen ceasefire monitoring, help develop early warning systems and early response mechanisms (conflict prevention), and generally help to strengthen and protect local organizations working for peaceful resolution of conflicts and advancement of basic rights.
